Easy Bake Contributor (MyGunDiary.com) Home Broken Into, Guns Stolen

Resource: http://mygundiary.blogspot.com/2013/01/burglary-summary.html
The thieves broke in using a crow bar or pry bar of some type to pry open the front door near the deadbolt, thereby defeating the dead bolt. Looks like the work of a pro due to the ease of which it appears they broke through the front door. I have additional security on the sliding glass door and windows, but only the dead bolt on the front door.

They made away with two laptop computers, assorted DJ equipment and music recording gear and 7 rifles including; (2) AK47s, an AR15, an SKS, a Mosin Nagant M44, vz24 Czech Mauser, Ruger 10/22 and my friends Baikal MP153 semiauto shotgun (sorry Ryan) plus assorted optics such as red dot scopes and laser flashlight.

Dude. When you post I'm quick to see what it is and then... a 3a.m. bummer.

That sucks. I mean, you did say you were downsizing before your deployment but I didn't think you'd go so far as to hire burglars.

Of course, the most important thing is that you and yours are safe and well. The insurance will help a little - although these days $2000 doesn't go far for rifles. Hell, even WASR's are going for 700-1000 bucks. But, you'll get some cash back and should be able to get the optics covered separately (they aren't firearms).

Were any of the optics things you were planning on taking for the deployment?
