Resource: http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/news/man-shot-near-martin-luther-king-jr-high-school-in-detroit
A 70-year-old girls basketball coach was walking two of his players to their cars in the school parking lot after a game Thursday night (January 31st) as was his routine.

As the coach walked the two girls to their cars, the group was accosted by two men. One of the men pulled gun and grabbed the coach by the chain around his neck.

A 70-year-old who coaches girls basketball in Detroit? You better believe he was a concealed carrier. The coach drew his concealed carry weapon and opened fire on the two men.

When police arrived they found the coach and the girls quite shook up... and the found one of the attackers dead in the median of a nearby street. The other attacker was placed under arrest and transported to the local hospital.

Reportedly both of the attackers had attended the school although one of them had recently been expelled.

Whats the moral of the story? Never screw with old folks. They are to cantankerous, especially if they have not had a bowl movement and their arthritis is acting up.

He made it to 70 years old living in Detroit, and working at a high school. He deserves a medal just for that, and yeah, you know he knows how to handle a gun
