Man draws gun while waiting in line for ammo (texas)

The demand for ammo is so high that a 51 year old man pulled his gun when people where cutting in line waiting for the gander mountain store to open. Ernesto Vasquez was arrested around 8 a.m. on charges of aggravated assault and will most likely loose his CCW permit (needs too).

This kind of stuff gives all of us a black eye and sets the movement back as non-gun owners read this thinking all gun owners are like this

quoted: "We like to think that concealed handgun license holders are mature and responsible and courteous adults. So their response to an aggravation should not be the production of a gun," ~Darla Granberry, a certified concealed handgun license instructor

We must remember: draw the gun only when one's life is in danger. Only. Otherwise, walk away.

well if you read the whole story it says "people where cutting in front of him" those people are just as bad for doing that too. There are a lot of "so-called" good people who own guns that really shouldn't have guns. I'm not saying what that guy did was right, but if thosse other people were cutting then theyare just as bad!!!

Juju...We have had the conversation about people assuming there is no consequence for rude behavior and then are surprised when they piss off the wrong guy and shit goes bad. But the wrong guy is still wrong. Criminal behavior is not an acceptable reaction to rude behavior and it never will be. Cutting in line does not make you just as bad as someone who pulls a gun on someone cutting in line. Its silly to say so.

Seriously? Cutting in line is just as bad as drawing your gun on someone for acting like a spoiled child? I'm sorry, but that is moronic.

There are acceptable ways of dealing with rude people, and that's what those people were, rude, but drawing your gun is not one of them. He should lose his concealed license at the least. This guy just fed the idiotic stereotype that concealed carriers are dangerous people instead of responsible citizens.
