So Jayson and I were going to go paintballing on Saturday when we realized the only clothes we have will make us stand out and be even bigger targets. What to do?
Army Navy Surplus Store! So away we went. We walked in and found appropriate camo for getting our asses shot off. Then we started to look around for more stuff to buy. I ended up finding some pretty kickass tactical pants that don't look overly tac'd out and Jayson found this:
He didn't buy them, but I couldn't let that picture go to waste. After the Army Navy Store, we headed to Bass Pro (isn't that what everyone does?). After looking at the bare shelves where ammo once lived, I saw some people fully decked out in cowboy attire and holding cowboy era weapons. Back in Arizona, that would have just been people shopping but here in South Florida, it was worth checking out. It turns out they were a group from the Cowboy Action Shooting club near us. The little lesson and the chance to check out the weapons was great. Then they said, there would be a demonstration. Great! What could be better so we went outside to see the demo. We should have seen the setup as a warning but nobody ever accused us of being all that smart.
Yup, that's a hobby horse
So that was the setup, and this was what actually happened:
I will vouch that Jayson was goaded into wearing them by the almost-cute sales girl and a massive rainstorm that had us not wanting to go back to the truck.
It could have been much worse. The "Booty Camp" shirt was a little too small.
