Mossberg - 500

This is a classic, and loads of fun to shoot. - 18.5" barrel. Tactical recoil reducing pistol grip. I use recoil reduced 00 buck in mine. It makes shooting it from positions other than from hip without dropping it or hitting youself in the face a breeze. And let me tell anyone who hasn't fired a pistol grip 12 gauge holding it out like a rifle, it is awesome. And you will feel like a bad mo-fo....
FN Herstal - Five-seveN

A unique gun that is fun to shoot - 20 round mag, oddly lightwieght (almost feels and looks like a toy gun), and virtually no recoil . A little un-nerving to fire the first time if you aren't expecting the flame that comes out of the barrel. This pistol is serously fun to fire. ...
Izhmash - AK-47

Seriously fun - If you have ever seen a war movie you have wanted to shoot one. If you've ever shot one, you want one. Be careful, if you haven't yet, and ever get to shoot one you'll be saving to get your own. Downside is that it gets real hot while shooting and occasionally you have to wait to let it cool just to hold it...
Kel-Tec - PF-9

Great size for a powerfull carry gun - The size is certainly ideal for carry, but I'm not a huge fan of the DAO. Not great as a range gun but, then again, thats not what it was designed for....
Walther - PPK and PPK/S

May be because it is my carry but, this is my favorite gun - This is my carry. I love this gun. Accurate, and with over 1,000 rounds, reliable. Never a problem. Easy take down and easy to clean. Plus, I feel a little like James Bond when I fire it. The only reason it isn't a 5 for me is I haven't fired every gun yet and I'm leaving myself some room just in case....
Ruger - 22/45

So much cheap fun, reminds me of an ex I have - Maybe it was because of the red dot sight on it, but this gun was accurate and fun as hell. I understand the fun of firing something large like a .44 or the AK-47, that's easy to get. I don't understand why a .22 pistol is as much fun as this, it just is....
Smith and Wesson - Model 629

If it was made to make you smile when you fire it, they were hugely successfull - Not sure what I would do with it if I got one, but that doesn't seem to have stopped me from wanting one. There is just something cool about firing a large caliber, SAO revolver. I mean, come on, if it was good enough for a bad ass like Dirty Harry, how is it not good enough for you....
FN Herstal - SCAR

Best rifle I've fired yet. - This gun has no recoil. None. The recoil you get is that of a 22; not a 223. Not to forget that it just looks bad-ass. I didn't get to fire many rounds, but this gun rocks. Thanks to the random range dude that offered to let three strangers (who looked like kids in a toy store when we came over to see his SCAR) fire 20 or so rounds from his $2,000 gun. The only question left about this gun is ho...
Para Ordnance - Warthog Single Action

A little big for a carry but if it fits you, get it - Been wanting to fire one of these for a while. It did not disappoint. A lot of power in a little gun with less recoil than I expected. Would make an excellent carry for someone big enough to conceal it, or if you lived somewhere that you could wear a jacket or hoodie often....
Ruger - SR9c

Really like this gun - I like almost everything about this gun. Great trigger (very similar to the Steyr that I like). Very comfortable grip; it feels great in your hand. Points nicely with good full size, 3 dot sights. Not a bad price. When it has the stainless slide it is very attractive. And it is from Ruger, so it should be reliable. Now for the one thing that will keep me from purchasing it. The loaded chamber indi...
Steyr - S40 / S40-A1

Sights take some getting used to but once you do, nice gun - I give it a three because as a compact it is kind of big and I think it would be a liitle difficult for me to conceal without a jacket or hoodie. That said, once you do get used to the sights and the trigger it is a lot of fun. And at 25yrds, the gun is more accurate than I am capable of taking advantage of (proof of that here http://www.easybakegunclub.com/blog/456/Steyr-S40-A1---Range-Report....
Astra Unceta - Cub

Like a Cap Gun - This was just fun to shoot; it's just so small. The mechanism is a little confusing and counter-intuitive, but once you figure it out it's not a problem. The fixed barrel actually unscrews in order to disassemble it, but makes it very accurate; even for such a tiny gun. Fun gun, going to hate to have to give it back to it's true owner, but going to shoot it a lot until I do....
CZ ceska zbrojovka - CZ 85 B

Love it - CZ make one hell of a gun. They don't seem to get the wide recognition compared to some other big manufacturers that they should. I just recently got a chance to fire one. Very comfortable gun. If I am ever in the market for a full size .40, this will be the one....
CZ ceska zbrojovka - CZ-75 P-07 Duty

I like this gun also, reminds me a lot of my M&P9 if it was a hammer fire - Can't go wrong with a full size 9mm. It's a CZ, which is always seems to mean it's a good gun....
FN Herstal - P90 / PS90

Got it. Love it. - Small rifle that looks cool, shoots great and is just plain fun. Have the FN red dot (tried larger optics and they just look funny on it) and this rifle is very accurate. Hard to find ammo, and expensive when you do, so I can't shoot it a lot. The recoil is non-existent, the fact that the round won't carry through walls much, 50 round magazine, and the size makes this a great rifle for home defens...
Ruger - SR22

Fun, but not the most reliable .22 - For what I got it for, teaching my nephew about shooting, it will serve it's purpose well. I've had quite a few problems with FTE's, but only when rapid firing for some reason. The controls are a little funny and the capacity leaves a little to be desired, but it is fun to shoot and the low recoil and (usually) cheap ammo is nice when introducing a new shooter. Not bad, but there are better .22's ...
Sig Sauer - Mosquito

Not a fan, enough trouble to make swear off Sigs - Two to three rounds, max, and FTE; stove pipe. Tried different power springs that came with the gun. Same thing. Checked that I was using proper ammo, was using exact brand and power recmmended by Sig. Emailed Customer Service,; nothing. Called Customer Service; nothing again. Gave up and got rid of the gun.Swore off purchasing a Sig again. Problem solved. ...
Smith and Wesson - M&P9

Accurate and reliable, what more could you want - This was my first pistol. Probably more than 1,000 rounds through it. Still love it. Very accurate. Though the safety is a little to easy to disengage for me consider it as a carry. Easy to take down and clean, even after a long day at the range it never seems all that dirty ...
Springfield Armory - XD-S

An Easy Carry .45ACP - This is a .45 that is easy to carry and fairly easy to handle; it's not 9mm sub-compact easy, but still, it's a .45. I really like this gun; a lot of fun to shoot. I never wanted to own a .45 as an EDC; I've had my mind set on a new 9mm carry for some time, but now... I'm not so sure. I want this gun. Lost 1/2 star only because the grip serrations are so deep it tore up my hands, but it does p...
Winchester - Model 94

Wanna feel like Clint Eastwood? - My Model 94 is a Golden Spike special edition made in 1969 that was given to me by my granfather. Since I don't hunt, this gun is only for fun (wich since neither does he, I assume thats why he had it as well), and fun it is. Plus, you can't help but feel a little like Clint in one of those old western like "The Outlaw Josie Wales". It has some good kick that is part of the fun, and without the...
Beretta - CX4 Storm

Cool rifle. Low recoil. - Fired to 40 cal. Fun rifle with not much recoil. Very accurate, great front sight; didn't really even need the rear sight to put it on target. Only got to put a few rounds through it as it was borrowed from a guy at the range, but it was enough to make me like the rifle. Only issue was the magazine would drop from the rifle when firing, guy had tape holding it in....
Beretta - PX4 Storm Sub-Compact

Wasn't as impressed as I hoped I'd be - Wasn't a bad gun, just nothing really special about it. There are deffinitly smaller sub-compacts out there that are just as powerful. It was comfortable to hold with the magazine extension but had more recoil than other smaller 9mm's....
Glock - G19

2nd best gun made... - ... in Austria. Not that it is a bad gun, just nothing speacial. The best thing about the gun is the trigger. I really like it. What I don't like is the angle between the grip and the barrel. I suppose if you're used to it, or take the time to get used to it, it would be okay, but I don't want to. If you are interested in the Glock, you would be better off looking at the Steyr. Same great trigger...
Harrington & Richardson Firearms - Topper

Feels like an old shotgun should - Mine is an older model Topper 20 gauge; 1950's give or take. Fun to shoot but with no recoil pad you will feel it when you do, and maybe the next day also. Ejecting the spent shell might be the best thing about firing it; When you break the barrel it literally shoots the empty shell 5 or 6 feet behind you (it's fun to do when someone is behind you). I was surprised at the accuracy and the shot sp...
Remington - Scoremaster 511

One of the best plinkers I've ever fired - Got this 1960's model from my father (he actually bought it with green stamps). A little cleaning and refinishing and it looks and fires like brand new. This rifle is seriously accurate, it's no wonder so many people still have them. It is a great learner rifle, and it's fun and cheap at the range. We use mine to play gun range battle-ship....
Sig Sauer - SIG556

Exactly what I expected - The gun looks mean. Collapsible stock, full rails, red dot. Surprisingly little recoil; probably a result of the only complaint I have about the gun. It's pretty heavy. Real fun to shoot and accurate as hell. It's what you would expect if you asked the Swiss to make a combat rifle. Just glad I wasn't the one the had to pick up the tab for it. Score would have been higher if I hadn't fired the Stey...
Smith and Wesson - M&P9 Compact

Awesome compact from S&W - It's an M&P. That should tell you all you need to know. Accurate and reliable. Very comfortable. Nice 12 round capacity for a compact. Recessed controls don't get in the way of the holster. Recoil is great for such a small gun. Trigger pull is smooth; even if the reset is hard to judge. It is basically the same as the full size M&P9 that I love. The only reason I don't own this gun right now is I ...
Smith and Wesson - M&P9 Shield

Definitly Worth the Wait - I waited a long time to get my hands on this gun. It conceals great and the recoil is easily managed. Accuracy is better than I am. So far it has had no issues with any kind of ammo I've found to put through it; just keeps chugging along. And takedown and cleaning is simple (a few hundred rounds and its not very ...
