Last Wednesday (January 23rd), police in Garfield, Pennsylvania were called to a home around 6p.m.
A masked gunman had approached the house and opened fire through the front door, striking one of the residents in the face. The gunman then entered the house. As he was entering, another resident armed himself and exchanged gunfire with the the gunman.
Both men were wounded in the exchange.
The two residents fled the house and called police who found them in serious condition and transported them to the hospital.
When police arrived at the home they found the intruder, now identified as Michael Andrews, dead on the scene.
The fast thinking resident saved his life and his friends life, while ridding this world of one more scumbag. Well done.
