A Connecticut woman was arrested in Chuck E Cheese’s for BRANDISHING a gun in an argument with another patron after an altercation over their kids. Witnesses say the altercation took place when the gun packing momma’s son pushed another 2 year old off a ride.
In a brief interview with Bourne (gun packer) she describes herself as a (this is where we need sound affects like a car coming to a screeching halt)…… “Very involved in the community.". Bourne had "rediscovered God, conquered a crack cocaine addiction and pursued her dream of working with children," prior to the incident. She is the mother of two boys, and is the founder of a local non-profit organization that works with parents on crisis prevention and intervention (I wonder who is going to counsel her?).
Police seized her hand gun and permit at the time of the incident and it’s up to a local judge if she will get them back (I hope not)
Chuck E Cheese released a statement stating they have signs in the front door saying “NO WEAPONS ALLOWED” and that she violated our policy along with state laws.” We would have put her in time out and took away her tokens but the cops got to her first”
Bourne was charged with reckless endangerment, risk of injury to children, threatening and breach of peace. She was released after posting a $50,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on Feb. 19, according to the press release
