Man's best friend takes the heat for his owner (FloriDUH)

we talk about making sure the kids don’t have access to a loaded gun what about the dog. A Florida man is claiming that his dog (yes his dog) shot him in the leg while they were on trip Saturday.

The alleged victim in this A/D (accidental discharge) was the dog’s owner Gregory Dale Lanier, 35, of Frostproof, Fla. According to a statement made to police Lanier was driving along state road 17N when the dog KICKED the gun and it went off striking him in the leg.

Lanier went on to say he though the gun wasn’t loaded and blames the dog for not giving it a safety check. To Mr. Lanier surprise he also learned that the gun was a 9mm and not a 380 (I bet the dog knew)

The dog could not be reached for comment at this time. No charges are filed at this time against the shooter but can be kenneled at a later date

(I bet there not BFF
