Instead of being a hero the school system suspended him for saving another students life. A 16 year old young man jumped into action when another student, a 15 year old pulled a loaded 22 revolver and pointed it at another student on the bus threatened to shoot him.
The young man did good but how did he get rewarded for his act of heroism; a three day suspension. Because he touched a loaded gun the school claims. According to the referral, he was suspended for being part of an "incident" where a weapon was present and given an "emergency suspension.".
All I can say is this makes me proud to be a tax payer knowing my hard earned dollars support such stupidly, sounds like the principle needs a couple of furlough days off herself
