SCOTUS: does a person have the right to defend themselfs outside the home?

Will politics side track them, I hope not. This needs to be heard and settled. For a country that claims freedom we sure don't feel free when you have to go through this type of BS just to protect yourselves


quoted: Starting Friday, the Supreme Court is going to start making selections on which cases it wants to hear for the fall term 2013. On the docket is a case called: Kachalsky v. Cacace, 12-845.



The plaintiffs in the case are New York residents who filed a lawsuit against the state of New York for its stringent and arbitrary ‘may-issue’ concealed carry laws, depending on the county or city one resides in, the ‘may-issue’ standard is effectively ‘no-issue’ in practice (think of Bloomberg’s NYC).

You mean you don't want the government picking and choosing who it deems allowed to live? so nitpicky.
