I'm a cop; I don't have to check if the gun is loaded before I handle it ~ BANG (conn)

Resource: http://www.ctpost.com/news/article/Report-Bridgeport-officer-shot-5071216.php
Over a morning cup of joe in a local coffee house a police officer shows off a gun to a friend. The other cop picks the gun up and for some reason points it at his leg and pulls the trigger and shoots himself in the leg. The bullet even goes through a window.

The incident is under investigation (really we need people investigating stupidity) will the cop be charged like a civilian would…. I doubt it! (Can we say police cover up)

Quoted: "I can tell you what would happen if you did it," said the former supervisor. "You'd be facing an unlawful discharge or at least reckless endangerment charge on the spot. It wouldn't take weeks to investigate."
