A Chino Hills, California man shot and an intruder - his daughter's ex-boyfriend - immediately after being stabbed multiple times.
The father was startled from sleep early Wednesday morning (June 25th) and began investigating. He soon realized there was someone inside the garage so the father grabbed a handgun.
It seems the daughter's ex, identified as Raiveon Wooden, had broken into the garage and come to cause havoc.
"As (the father) was approaching the garage, he was attacked by the suspect and stabbed multiple times," according to the statement. "The victim was armed and … fired at the suspect, striking him twice."
Both men were transported to the same hospital. The father was treated, released, and went home. Wooden will not be going home. Once he is released from medical care he will be taken into custody and faces charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and burglary.
