The star of Discovery Channel's hit series "Sons of Guns", Will Hayden, was arrested by East Baton Rouge Sheriff's deputies. According to the Sheriff's website he is accused of molestation of a child and a crime against nature, an aggravated offense.
Will was released just hours later on $150,000 bond.
When TMZ spoke to Will he said that his ex-girlfriend, the mother tof one of his children, told police that he molested their daughter. He explained that the the woman acted out of spite as retaliation for the breakup and Will's new wife.
Child Protective Services interviewed the girl and then returned her to Will's home and the care of Will and his new wife.
You have to ask yourself just how weak the allegations are if Child Protective Services never even took the girl from the home.
Will's older daughter Stephanie tells us, "There was never any impropriety in our home. He was and is a good father."
Will's daughter Stephanie posted this update to her Facebook page:
"Guys, You deserve an answer to your question. This was a false allegation and unfortunately that's all it takes. My father is a good man, and ALL of his children love him very much and are truly sickened that a person would try to do this to our family. Its not right. You see the love we have for our family. Please don't believe the headline, READ the rest, even the full story states its not true. The one thing that really hurts us is that my sister is heartbroken that anyone could think this of her father. Its a nightmare...please stand with us."
We'll stand with Sons of Guns because everything we've heard and everyone we've talked to (and CPS almost immediately returning his daughter home with Will) says this is exactly what Will says it is - an ex-girlfriend using the system to get revenge.
