After picking a fight with a random shopper at a grocery store, a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania man found out he'd brought a knife to a gunfight.
Admittedly, it was a 13-inch serrated hunting knife... but his "victim" had a Glock.
It was just after 5:30p.m. when the attacker confronted his victim for "looking at him for no reason". A brief confrontation ensued and he pulled the 13-inch knife and threatened to cut his victim.
The victim repeatedly told the now knife-wielding attacker to drop the knife and was ignored. When the attacker lunged to stab him, the victim drew his 9mm Glock and fired a single shot - striking the attacker in the groin.
When police arrived they transported the wounded attacker to the hospital in critical condition and took him into custody. The knife was taken into evidence.
That's what I call combat effective shooting.
