U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-Va.) recently introduced H.R. 131, a bill that would more comprehensively address the interstate transportation of firearms and ammunition for law-abiding gun owners.
I would like to see something like this pass. I enjoy road trips, but I hate the part of planning where I have to become a legal expert in every state's gun law if i plan to drive through it. Reciprocity is one thing, but this will add more protection for law abiding gun owners travelling through anti gun states that tend to be less friendly to Americans who make use of their civil liberties.
