"The ordinance serves only as a piece of propaganda, because the ordinance's mandates are legally unenforceable," the lawsuit said. "The state of Washington has the exclusive right to regulate the sale of firearms in Washington, and cities may not enact local laws or regulations related to the sale of firearms."
It seems to me this is a taxation on one of the bill of rights. Which makes me wonder - Is there anyone taxing free speech? How much does it cost to plead the fifth amendment in court? How much do you have to pay to keep soldiers from sleeping in your daughters room? How about we tax people who don't buy guns and call it "the willing victim tax". Sometimes the NRA overhelms me with so much shit in my mail both email and snail mail. Its times like these when I remember exactly why I send them money every year. To stop this exact bullshit.
