The whole world is watching America, where you have the God-given right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and we have got to be more respectful to the other side

I will avoid anything that can be interpreted as condoning or referencing violence
 

I think this will be good news for the pro second amendment / pro gun rights agenda.   I think there has been some political collataral damage in the wake of some of his more violent rants in the past and that it will be easier to talk logically about the importance of gun rights if he tones it down.
